Researchers from the University of Arizona and Australian National University are challenging the standard model of cancer by examining the ancient underpinnings of the disease. The research is driven by the idea expressed by cancer biologist, Anneke Blackburn, that “A better understanding of cancer can lead to better therapeutic outcomes.”
